Stop guessing. Start catching.

Saltwater fishing has too many moving parts to figure out trip by trip. SaltRig Pro pulls them all together — so you spend less time researching and more time on the water.

Skip the rabbit hole

Hours of research compressed into one actionable plan you can use today. No more clicking between 12 tabs.

Built for your conditions

Tide, wind, clarity, time of day — the plan changes when the water changes. Not generic textbook advice.

Know before you go

Gear list, technique, structure to target, regulations by state and species. No more scrambling dock-side.

Angler's Algorithm

Pattern recognition that takes most anglers years to develop — applied to your specific trip, in plain language.

Four inputs. One complete plan.

Answer four quick questions. Get a plan that reads like advice from a guide who knows the water.

  1. 01

    Tell us where

State, body of water, access point. Wade, boat, kayak, or pier.

  2. 02

    Pick your target

Redfish, snook, trout, tarpon, pompano, sheepshead — pick what you're after.

  3. 03

    Add conditions

Tide stage, wind, water clarity, time of day. The water tells you what to do.

  4. 04

    Get your plan

Technique, lure, structure, timing, gear checklist. Built for your exact trip.

A taste of what you get.

Two sections of a real SaltRig Pro plan. The full version covers six.

Redfish Mosquito Lagoon, FL Outgoing tide Light wind
Generated for Intermediate · Kayak
Technique

Sight-cast tailing reds on shallow grass flats. Outgoing tide will concentrate fish on the flat edges as water drops. Lead the fish by 4–6 feet — never cast directly on top of them in clear water.

Lure selection

Weedless paddle tail (3.5") in pearl/chartreuse on a 1/16 oz screw-lock jig head. If grass is heavy, switch to a weightless DOA shrimp.

Not a map. A plan.

Most fishing apps show you data — spots on a map, tide tables, weather layers. Useful, if you already know how to fish. SaltRig Pro covers the part they skip: exactly what to do when you get there.

Spot-finding apps
  • Show where fish might be on a map
  • Display raw tide and weather data
  • You bring your own gear knowledge
  • You figure out the technique
  • Built for anglers who know the basics

Six answers. Every trip.

No filler. Just what you'd ask a guide if you had one with you.

01

Technique

Approach, casting strategy, retrieve — when to hold and when to move.

02

Lure selection

Specific types, sizes, colors, and weights for your conditions.

03

Structure

Where fish hold given the tide stage, depth, and bottom at your spot.

04

Best window

Hour-by-hour timing — when to be on the water, when to switch tactics.

05

Gear checklist

Rod, reel, line, leader, terminal tackle — everything before you leave.

06

Regulations

Slot limits, bag limits, licenses, and closures for your species and state.

Answers, before you ask.

Do I need to be experienced?
No. SaltRig Pro is designed for beginners through intermediate anglers. Plans adjust to your stated skill level — more explanation when you need it, more advanced strategy when you don't.
Why not just use a fishing map app?
Map apps tell you where fish might be. They don't tell you what lure to throw, what retrieve to use, or what the tide is doing to fish behavior. SaltRig Pro builds the actual plan — the part you used to figure out yourself.
What if I'm not on the Gulf Coast?
Gulf Coast inshore is our launch focus, but SaltRig Pro covers all US saltwater — Pacific, Atlantic, and Gulf. If your species and water type are supported, you get a plan.
Does it work for kayak, wade, or boat fishing?
All three. Tell us how you're fishing and recommendations adjust — kayak anglers get stealth-focused approaches, waders get reach considerations, boaters get positioning tactics.
How is this different from a YouTube video?
Videos give general advice for general conditions. SaltRig Pro builds a plan for your specific trip — your location, your water, your conditions, your gear.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. SaltRig Pro installs on your phone like a native app. Once your plan is generated, it works without signal — useful when you're already on the water.
Do you support freshwater?
Not yet. Saltwater is our launch focus. Freshwater species (bass, walleye, crappie, etc.) are planned for V2.
